BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND FIXTURES

THAMES VALLEY PREMIER LEAGUE DIVISION TWO | SATURDAY 6TH MAY | THE CAULDRON | KO 2PM

The Rapids have another opportunity to clinch the Thames Valley Premier League Division Two title following their first defeat of the season earlier this week.  We will see how they bounce back from the 3-1 loss to Burghfield Reserves against Hurst Reserves at The Cauldron this Saturday. A point is all that is required to guarantee the trophy and although Hurst Reserves have been a little out of sorts recently with just 1 win in the last 5, they are pushing for a top 3 finish and will not be there to make up the numbers.

Finishing off the Bank Holiday Weekend we have a Burghfield double header to enjoy.  First of all our promotion winning U11s will take to The Cauldron pitch in a friendly at 1pm against Burghfield U11 followed by the men at 3pm.

A game which could be pivotal for either side in the hunt for top 3 in the Thames Valley Premier League. The reverse fixture was a 3-3 thriller just a couple of weeks ago, YM went 3-2 down after taking a 2 goal lead but then clawed it back to take a point at Burghfield Rec. Expect this one to be another entertaining game!

To mark the occasion Reading YMCA FC are producing a printed programme for the event. These are a limited print run of 40 so ensure you are at The Cauldron nice and early to avoid disappointment.
