Our ground, affectionately known as The Cauldron, is in the picturesque village of Padworth in West Berkshire and has been home to The Young Men for over a decade.

Considered as one of the best pitches in Berkshire, thanks to the clubs constant investment into the playing field, we are committed to provide the very best surface possible for our players and opponents. Along with recent ground improvements such as stadium style goals, new dug outs and a covered standing area, The Cauldron has become a favorite at Step Seven with players and spectators alike.

The Cauldron is approximately 10 minutes away from J12 of the M4 by car and the nearest train station, Aldermaston, is approximately a 20 minute walk from the ground.

Adding to the match day experience we have our very own fully licensed bar at the Corner Flag conveniently located within our covered standing area. The Corner Flag serves Hot Dogs, snacks, hot and cold drinks every match day.

Adjacent to the pitch is a child’s play area with swings, slide, zip wire, roundabout, and picnic tables. The Cauldron provides a family friendly environment to enjoy local grassroots football for all.

Best of all, there is absolutely no admission fee! So come join The Young Men on a Saturday afternoon for your football fix completely for free.

We are located within the grounds of Padworth Village Hall. The Hall caters for all local residents and has facilities for those with disabilities. The Hall is heavily used for village social events – eg quiz nights, harvest supper and theatre performances and also by local people for children’s parties, wedding receptions and other private events. Booking enquiries can be made here or by giving them a call on 0118 9713 513.
