MEDIA MANAGER APPOINTMENT

Out with the old and in with the… old!

Brian Baggaley is back with Reading YMCA FC as our ‘new’ Media Manager.  For those unaware Brian was previously with the club between 2019 and the summer of 2022 when he stepped down from his club responsibilities.  In that time he helped enhance the profile of the club through social media, he also joined the committee to assist with commercial and fund raising endeavors in addition to being the club photographer.

After almost a season away, the time is right for a return.  Brian will not be rejoining as a committee member but has decided to return and focus solely on the clubs media.  The aim is to build on the foundations already in place, develop our content and put a wider spotlight on all of our sides including the U11s.

This appointment will also allow Luke Howroyd, who stepped up and has done a fantastic job managing our social media this season, more time to explore potential club developments and commercial opportunities for Reading YMCA FC.  Thankfully Luke will continue to produce our match highlights.

Brian has already been busy in the background prior to his return curating and launching our new website but is now back full time effective immediately.  Perhaps best of all though, regular match day photos will make a return!
